About The Position

At Gallagher Re, we are seeking a Reinsurance Broker Associate to manage placements through all stages with precision and care. This role involves close collaboration with Client Advocates, Senior Brokers, Placement Support, Contracts, and other departments to ensure the timely progression of renewals, submissions, and cover documents. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, enjoy teamwork, and thrive in a varied work environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring that critical information reaches the appropriate stakeholders at the right moments, from the initial renewal phase through to the final cover issuance.

Requirements

• University Degree and 0-1 year of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• A meticulous attention to detail when reviewing wording, documents, and data.
• A clear and practical approach to working with brokers, clients, markets, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in using systems and spreadsheets for work organization.
• A helpful, team-focused attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Comfort with compliance procedures and process checks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in reinsurance, insurance, brokerage, underwriting, or a related support role.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire placement process, beginning well in advance of renewal.
• Assist in reviewing wording, collecting data, and preparing submission packs.
• Ensure necessary checks are completed before market submission.
• Facilitate new client setup, market approvals, and onboarding procedures.
• Track quotes, monitor progress, and manage documentation flow as placements go live.
• Prepare cover emails, handle subjectivities and exclusions, and ensure timely issuance of signed documents.
• Manage follow-up items, assist with endorsements, and support final cover documentation post-placement.
• Participate in broader team activities such as RFPs, client presentations, market research, data analysis, and meeting support.
