About The Position
Cincinnati Re, a division of The Cincinnati Insurance Company, is currently seeking a Reinsurance Claims Associate Analyst who will assist a team of claims professionals in managing the reinsurance claim payment process, analysis of loss runs and input, and validation of reinsurance claims. This position will involve interpretation of reinsurance contracts for a wide range of reinsurance products, and provide underwriters and management advice and analysis on claims trends and financial matters as they relate to individual accounts.

- the proficiency to effectively use Microsoft® Excel
- good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

- aptitude to lead and embrace change
- A bachelor's degree
- relevant undergraduate degree required
Responsibilities
- analyze, understand and apply reinsurance contracts
- evaluate submitted claims for determination of coverage
- calculate and process loss and expense reserves and billings
- communicate with brokers and cedents to provide support and resolve claim issues
- approve reinsurance claim payments based on contract terms within authority
- respond to inquiries from internal and external parties
- participate in various projects that support Cincinnati Re in maintaining our competitive edge
