Reimbursement Representative
About The Position
Work Schedule: This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Once fully trained, there is additional schedule flexibility which will be discussed in the interview process. This is a hybrid position with onsite requirements being 1-2 times per quarter. We are seeking a Reimbursement Representative to: Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances. Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- 1 year of experience in an insurance, finance, medical, hospital, or customer service-related field. Required
- Revenue Cycle (healthcare business, financial or insurance) experience.
- Epic experience
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field Preferred
- Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT, ICD coding structures, and billing forms (UB, 1500) Preferred
