About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift, Monday – Friday. Shifts will be scheduled 8:00 AM -4:30 PM during training. Once training is complete, there is additional flexibility that will be discussed in the interview process. This is a hybrid position. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Reimbursement Representative Lead to: Be responsible for monitoring a large portfolio of account receivables and is engaged in proactive collection of outstanding balances. Answer questions regarding team functions, assist management with team direction, and monitor the accuracy and timely processing of appeals to various payers or programs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Required
2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role Required
1 year experience in a healthcare revenue cycle operations role plus 1 year of prior leadership experience. Required
Epic experience
Three years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role with progressive leadership responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management or related field Preferred
Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT, ICD coding structures, and billing forms (UB, 1500) Preferred
