The Reimbursement Director reports directly to the VP of Finance and Revenue Cycle of CoxHealth. This role involves preparing internal documentation for Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, performing detailed reviews and analysis of 3rd party payer reimbursement, and developing impact analyses of 3rd party payer changes. The Director will analyze the pricing structure and recommend tactical pricing adjustments, evaluate and implement a payer contract modeling system, prepare monthly financial statement estimates for valuing the net realizable value of accounts receivable, and undertake special reimbursement projects as needed. Additionally, the Reimbursement Director will oversee and develop their supervised staff.
