Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven, hands-on experience managing medical insurance claims, follow-up, or denial resolution.
  • A strong, practical understanding of healthcare coding principles and public/private payer guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze public and private insurance policies to secure accurate, optimal payments that sustain our patient care mission.
  • Investigate denied or disputed claims to uncover root causes, recommending smarter workflows that prevent future delays.
  • Empower our internal staff by serving as the go-to expert, providing clear coaching and training on proper coding and reimbursement guidelines.
  • Partner seamlessly with external agencies and internal teams to navigate third-party audits with transparency and confidence.
