About The Position
PAM Health Dallas is opening a new rehabilitation hospital and is seeking a PRN Rehabilitation Technician to support its diverse patient population. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Under the direct supervision of a Therapist or Therapy Assistant, the Rehabilitation Technician participates in patient activities. The role also requires flexibility to meet department needs and providing clerical backup as needed.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required.
- No experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior healthcare experience is highly preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Participate in patient activities under the direct supervision of a Therapist or Therapy Assistant.
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the department.
- Provide clerical backup to the department as needed.
