About The Position
This position assists in the provision of rehabilitative services within the Pediatric Rehab Services department at Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, FL. The role involves supporting therapists with patient treatments, preparing and maintaining treatment areas, and managing therapy equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in allied health or therapy related settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of rehabilitative services.
- Assist with patient treatments as directed.
- Prepare treatment areas for therapy and maintain in safe and sanitary condition.
- Maintain equipment used in therapy interventions.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
