About The Position

Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital is seeking a Therapy Manager to guide and strengthen therapy services while making a direct impact on patient outcomes. In this role, you will partner with the Director of Therapy Services to oversee daily operations, support staff development, drive quality improvement initiatives, and provide hands-on patient care. You will lead a dedicated rehabilitation team, promote collaboration across departments, and help shape programs that deliver exceptional results for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Requirements

  • Current Arkansas Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech Pathologist Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy Assistant license, required
  • Bachelors or Masters in a Healthcare Management or related field.
  • BLS/CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical therapy experience, preferred
  • Leadership experience; preferred
  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience; preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the Therapy Department, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop therapy staff through performance evaluations, competency assessments, orientation, continuing education, and professional development initiatives.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and evaluate therapy personnel while promoting a collaborative, patient-focused culture.
  • Develop, implement, and improve departmental policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs to enhance service delivery, patient outcomes, and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide direct patient care by performing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy services, monitoring progress, educating patients and families, and coordinating discharge planning.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve rehabilitation goals and ensure a safe care environment.
