REHABILITATION THERAPIST/EXERCISE THERAPIST We're looking for a passionate Rehabilitation Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OTA/PTA services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). In this role, you'll support individuals recovering from car accidents, medical trauma, helping them regain mobility, function, and confidence in their daily lives. You would be the ideal candidate if you have experience working with brain injuries, mental health, and/or chronic pain, enjoy collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, and are interested in working in an in-home or community setting.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in the private sector is an asset including areas within the MVA (motor vehicle accident) system, brain injury and rehabilitation
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • University/College Education in a related field is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word)
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR level C certification
  • Smartphone with a data plan
  • Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)

Nice To Haves
