About The Position

As a casual Rehabilitation Assistant supporting our Woodstock clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.
Requirements
- A Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
- Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads
- Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage
- Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
- Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
- Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families
- Administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents
- Uploading service provider reports
