About The Position

As a Rehabilitation Assistant at our Brampton County Court Health Centre, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Requirements

• A Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
• Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads
• Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage
• Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
• Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
• Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families
• Administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents
• Uploading service provider reports
