About The Position

Wellstar is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide. The company's mission is to enhance the health and well-being of every person they serve, striving for compassion, excellence, and honoring every voice. This role is for non-professional personnel who will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Therapist. The responsibilities include assisting therapists with age-appropriate patient treatment, providing administrative support as needed, and performing general departmental duties within Rehabilitation Services. The aide is expected to adhere to system and department policies and procedures and incorporate philosophies of continuous quality improvement, customer service, and teamwork into their daily routine.

Requirements

• High School Diploma General or GED General
• Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor (required upon hire)
• Patient related experience
• Good communication and time management skills
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple job tasks

Responsibilities

• Assisting Therapists with age appropriate patient treatment - Occasional, maybe required to provide a 'second-set-of-hands to assist treatment
• General Admin Support for Therapists
• General Department Duties in the Area of Rehabilitation Services
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Patient Care Environment
• Maintain All Equipment
• Ensure the availability of all Supplies
