This Rehabilitation Aide position is for non-professional personnel working under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Therapist. The role involves assisting therapists with age-appropriate patient treatment, providing administrative support for Therapists as needed, and performing general departmental duties in Rehabilitation Services. The individual must adhere to system and department policies and procedures and incorporate philosophies of continuous quality improvement, customer service, and teamwork. Requirements

• High School Diploma General or GED General
• Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor (required upon hire)
• Patient related experience (preferred)
• Good communication and time management skills
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple job tasks

Responsibilities

• Assisting Therapists with age appropriate patient treatment - Occasional, maybe required to provide a 'second-set-of-hands to assist treatment
• General Admin Support for Therapists
• General Department Duties in the Area of Rehabilitation Services
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Patient Care Environment
• Maintain All Equipment
• Ensure the availability of all Supplies
