Rehabilitation Aide - Physical Therapy (Per Diem, Day Shift)

Job Summary: Performs patient and non-patient related tasks under the order, direction and immediate supervision of registered physical, occupational and speech therapists.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs direct and indirect patient care duties under the supervision of appropriately licensed professionals, as delegated by department professionals and management.
- Assists with patient transport and transfers.
- Provides daily and timely patient chart documentation of interventions and services provided in the acute care setting.
- Documents employee and out-patient treatments, as necessary.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
