About The Position

We are seeking a Rehab Therapy Assistant to prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment in a manner that assures the patient’s dignity, personal care, and security. This role involves carrying out patient related activities, as directed by the patient’s clinician, such as assisting with therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, and/or ambulation activities. The assistant will also complete administrative tasks as delegated by manager, supervisor, or clinician, and establish appropriate interpersonal relationships and communications with patients, families, other team members, students and interns, and other health care professionals. Additionally, the role includes participating in the education and growth of the team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare experience
• 1 year healthcare experience
