About The Position

We are seeking a Rehab Therapy Assistant to prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment in a manner that assures the patient’s dignity, personal care, and security. This role will carry out patient related activities, as directed by the patient’s therapist, such as, assist with a patient’s therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, and/or ambulation activities. The assistant will also complete administrative tasks as delegated by manager, supervisor, or therapist, and establish appropriate interpersonal relationships and communications with patients, families, other team members, students and interns, and other health care professionals. Additionally, the Rehab Therapy Assistant will participate in the education and growth of the team.

Requirements

• CPR certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• No minimum education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
• Prior healthcare experience Preferred
• 1 year healthcare experience Preferred
