About The Position

We are seeking a Rehab Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment to ensure patient dignity, personal care, and security. You will carry out patient-related activities as directed by the patient's therapist, such as assisting with therapeutic exercises, activities, and ambulation. Additionally, you will complete administrative tasks, establish appropriate interpersonal relationships and communications with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and participate in the education and growth of the team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• CPR certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare experience Preferred
• 1 year healthcare experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment in a manner that assures the patient’s dignity, personal care, and security.
• Carry out patient related activities, as directed by the patient’s therapist, such as, assist with a patient’s therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, and/or ambulation activities.
• Complete administrative tasks as delegated by manager, supervisor, or therapist.
• Establish appropriate interpersonal relationships and communications with patients, families, other team members, students and interns, and other health care professionals.
• Participate in the education and growth of the team.
