About The Position
Under supervision, the Rehabilitation Therapist provides rehabilitation therapy services to members served, both on an individual and group basis. Shifts Available: On-Call | AM | Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Days vary as needed. Expected starting wage range is $37.41 - $46.23. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. The Santa Maria Community Services (SMCS) is a 16-bed locked acute psychiatric inpatient program for adults aged 18+, diagnosed with serious mental illness (SMI), experiencing a mental health emergency and require intensive treatment and support.
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. in Occupational, Recreational, Music, Dance, Drama or Art Therapy, Vocational Counseling or related field (Must meet any regulatory requirements for the use of these titles, specific to the program type or location)
- Six (6) months of experience in behavioral health setting
- Discipline certification or licensure may be required per program licensure or accrediting body requirements
