About The Position

Saint Luke's South is seeking a Rehab Tech to join their team. This PRN position offers a flexible work schedule with potential for half days during the week and some weekend and holiday requirements. The role involves assisting Physical and Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Speech Pathologists in preparing patients for treatment across various settings, including acute care, rehab, and outpatient. Responsibilities include routine tasks, assisting therapists during treatment, patient transfers, equipment management, environmental cleaning, inventory, stocking supplies, assisting with advanced technology and robotic devices, assisting with feeding groups, and transporting patients. Annual competency must be maintained and documented. Weekday and holiday shifts are required, with weekday availability being helpful.

Requirements

Less than 1 year of applicable experience
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross

Responsibilities

Assists in preparing patient for treatment by Physical and Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Speech Pathologists in acute care, rehab, and outpatient settings.
Performs routine tasks and assists therapists during patient treatment activities.
Assisting with transferring patients.
Managing and tracking equipment.
Environmental cleaning.
Taking inventory.
Stocking supplies.
Assisting with advanced technology and robotic devices.
Assisting with feeding group.
Transporting patients to and from Rehab Department.
Annual competency maintained and documented.
