Rehab Technician
About The Position
Saint Luke's South is seeking a PRN Rehab Tech to assist patients and enjoy a flexible work schedule. This role involves preparing patients for treatment by Physical and Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Speech Pathologists in various settings. Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers, equipment management, environmental cleaning, inventory, stocking supplies, assisting with advanced technology and robotic devices, assisting with feeding groups, and transporting patients. Annual competency maintenance is required. Weekday and holiday shifts are required, with helpful weekday availability preferred.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross

Responsibilities
- Assists in preparing patient for treatment by Physical and Occupational Therapists/Assistants and Speech Pathologists in acute care, rehab, and outpatient settings.
- Performs routine tasks and assists therapists during patient treatment activities.
- Assisting with transferring patients.
- Managing and tracking equipment.
- Environmental cleaning.
- Taking inventory.
- Stocking supplies.
- Assisting with advanced technology and robotic devices.
- Assisting with feeding group.
- Transporting patients to and from Rehab Department.
- Annual competency maintained and documented.
