About The Position

Boswell Transitional Care of Cascadia is looking for a Rehab Technician to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals to be a FORCE for Good in Sun City, Arizona! Position Summary: The Rehab Technician performs a variety of direct patient care activities to support Rehabilitation programs and processes. Assists Therapy and nursing staff with treatments and assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and mobility.

Requirements

• Requires effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and departmental and interdepartmental relationships.
• Strong work ethic and customer service first attitude.
• Demonstrate respectful oral and written communication skills with rehabilitation staff, facility staff, patients and families
• Knowledge of HIPAA.
• Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
• All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each State’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment preferred but not required
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assists with computer data entry and generates reports as requested.
• Assist with setting patients up for therapy.
• Assist the Rehab Director with tasks as needed.
• Assists to manage and maintain equipment and therapy spaces.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
