About The Position

The Rehab Technician supports HealthONE/HCA’s mission to improve the quality of life of those served by addressing the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the manager, the Rehab Aide prepares patients for treatment and assists therapists during treatment, demonstrating a good working knowledge of treatment techniques. The role also helps maintain the department in a clean and orderly condition, communicates appropriate patient information, keeps supplies adequately stocked, and performs clerical duties. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Requirements

BLS certification upon hire.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure quality patient care.
Strong critical-thinking skills.
Ability to communicate with patients using auditory input and output.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a patient-care-related field.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for treatment and assist therapists during treatment.
