About The Position

Responsible for assisting the licensed nurses in the performance of delegated nursing procedures and functional rehabilitation tasks for which the assistant has been trained at either a basic or advanced level to meet rehabilitation patient’s needs. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, requiring work every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent required
• CNA, Nursing Assistant or Therapy Tech training and/or satisfactory previous experience required
• Satisfactory completion of MRC rehabilitation orientation and advanced training programs for rehab tech/nursing assistant required once the employee has been hired
• At least 1 year on direct, hands-on patient care

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that patients arrive to Therapies on time
• Assist with ADL's which include toileting, bathing, eating, etc.
• Assess and record vitals
• Assist with transporting patients to and from Therapies
• Other duties as assigned
