About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Casual Rehab Tech for its Rehab Unit at Cornerstone. Under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy Manager or authorized designee, this role performs designated routine tasks related to the operation of the rehabilitation services department. The technician assists in both patient and clerical related activities in accordance with the needs of the Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist or the Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistant. The rehabilitation technician also assists with performance improvement activities within the department, participates in CQI activities, participates in infection control, departmental equipment training, and organizational safety and fire safety programs.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent, including courses in biological sciences.
• CPR certification required.
• Educational knowledge or history of work performance which gives evidence of the ability to meet requirements of the job.
• Up to six (6) months on the job training in use of various equipment and in department methods and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• College level coursework in anatomy/physiology preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Computer skills preferred.
