Rehab Team Lead (Speech Language Pathology) | UF Jacksonville Inpatient | Full-time | Days
About The Position
This is a full-time position, working from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The role assists site leadership in optimizing department operations, including scheduling, inventory management, staff onboarding, employee engagement, and quality improvement initiatives. The position involves leading team huddles or meetings as assigned, contributing to a positive work culture, and enhancing employee engagement. Additionally, the individual will perform duties of a rehabilitation professional, maintaining high standards of clinical practice and hospitality, while also taking on leadership responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Florida Speech Language Pathologist license
- Speech Language Pathologist certification
- 1 to 2 years as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and accountability to progress work
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated clinical ability to provide diverse treatment programs for multiple diagnoses
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary (PT, OT, SLP) rehabilitative theory, procedures, practices and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Identifies and assists with improvement opportunities within department
- May assist Education Coordinator with student and volunteer placement
- Provides input to staff performance evaluations
- Follows all infection control and safety policies
- Assists with maintaining supply inventory control and ordering
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor within job scope.
