About The Position

Assists site leadership to optimize department operations (scheduling, inventory, staff onboarding, employee engagement, and quality improvement activities). Leads team huddles or meetings, as assigned. Contributes to a positive work culture and enhances employee engagement. Performs duties of a rehabilitation professional, upholding high standards of clinical practice and hospitality, while taking on leadership roles assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Florida Occupational Therapist license
  • Basic Life Support
  • 1 to 2 years as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and accountability to progress work
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated clinical ability to provide diverse treatment programs for multiple diagnoses
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary (PT, OT, SLP) rehabilitative theory, procedures, practices and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and assists with improvement opportunities within department
  • May assist Education Coordinator with student and volunteer placement
  • Provides input to staff performance evaluations
  • Follows all infection control and safety policies
  • Assists with maintain supply inventory control and ordering
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor within job scope.
