The Rehab Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory for Rehab Therapy supplies, registering patients for Rehab Therapy Services, and obtaining pre-approval/certification from patient’s insurance carriers for medical procedures. This role also involves scheduling therapy appointments, answering telephones, routing calls, taking messages, and providing routine information. The assistant will establish, organize, and maintain files, information, and records. Additionally, they will maintain a clean and organized office environment, work with the Rehab Office Coordinator on Medicare requirements, track and enter authorization data into the Electronic Medical Record and patient charts, and maintain cleanliness and safety logs of designated equipment. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday.
