About The Position

This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to serve as a Rehab Director in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. The role involves directing daily operations, leading and mentoring a therapy team, partnering with facility leadership for clinical outcomes, ensuring compliance with guidelines, monitoring department performance, and fostering a culture of teamwork and exceptional care.

Requirements

Current Michigan PTA or OTA license.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
A positive attitude and commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, or geriatric therapy preferred.
Leadership experience is welcomed but not required—we're happy to develop motivated clinicians ready for the next step.

Responsibilities

Direct the daily operations of a busy rehabilitation department.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
Partner with facility leadership to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and company guidelines.
Monitor department performance, scheduling, productivity, and quality measures.
Build positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Create a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and exceptional care.
