About The Position

Blue Stone Therapy is expanding its presence in the Omaha area with a new skilled nursing partnership and is looking for a Rehab Director to lead the therapy team. This is a hands-on clinical leadership role for a PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA who enjoys patient care and is ready to take on additional responsibility supporting the day-to-day success of a therapy program. This role offers the opportunity to join an established Blue Stone Therapy market while helping build a new therapy team, develop strong facility relationships, and create a collaborative program from day one. The position involves providing direct patient care while supporting the day-to-day operations of the therapy department, serving as an onsite resource, and supporting therapy scheduling, caseload management, productivity, and staffing needs. The Rehab Director will help create a positive, collaborative team environment, build strong working relationships with facility leadership, support clinical quality and documentation, identify operational needs, and help onboard and develop team members. The role also involves contributing to the growth of the new therapy program while maintaining an active clinical caseload.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Current therapy license (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA) or eligibility for licensure in Nebraska
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a therapy services role
  • Enjoy leading, mentoring, and supporting others
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with facility leadership and interdisciplinary team members
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
  • Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with day-to-day department leadership

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care while supporting the day-to-day operations of the therapy department
  • Serve as an onsite resource and point of contact for therapy staff and facility leadership
  • Support therapy scheduling, caseload management, productivity, and staffing needs
  • Help create a positive, collaborative team environment focused on quality patient care
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with facility leadership and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Support clinical quality, documentation, regulatory compliance, and therapy program expectations
  • Identify day-to-day operational needs and partner with regional leadership for support and solutions
  • Help onboard, support, and develop therapy team members
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the new therapy program while maintaining an active clinical caseload
