About The Position

A Rehab Director/Occupational Therapist position is available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department at Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Kennebunk, ME. This facility is a 78-bed skilled nursing facility that has been newly renovated and is conveniently located near the Maine Turnpike, restaurants, shopping centers, and is less than a 15-minute drive to the ocean. The facility is busy and fast-paced, treating both short-term and long-term care patients in the geriatric population. Requirements

• Be a licensed occupational therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide therapy services as needed
