The Rehabilitation Aide prepares and cleans treatment areas, positions patients, maintains supplies, and assists in patient treatment plans. You will play a vital role on the rehabilitation team by following our patients throughout their recovery process and returning them back to their independence!

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Graduate of a Nursing Aide program.
  • BLS Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire and maintains certification.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to and follow Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital Mission, Values, Vision and policies.
  • Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification and current listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry preferred.
  • Chiropractic Assistant training and Therapy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist staff with patient treatment.
  • Room patients for Chiropractor appointments, complete intake and insurance forms, and take patient's vitals.
  • Complete transfers, ambulation, and vital signs on patients.
  • File and manage paperwork and assist with patient scheduling as needed.
  • Maintain great communication with patients, families, and the rehab teams.
  • Obtain equipment and supplies and prepare them for use while maintain proper supply of equipment.
  • Schedule and track of the peak performance program.
  • Complete phone calls/messages and print schedules while maintaining patient confidentiality.
