About The Position

This role offers valuable hands-on clinical experience for students pursuing careers in rehabilitation therapy. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our outpatient therapy team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our rehabilitation team and assisting patients during their recovery process.
Requirements
- Previous health care related experience or education.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within one month of hire
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Assist in rooming patients for therapy sessions
- Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment before and after use
- Perform various appointment scheduling tasks
- Manage patient communication and customer service needs via phone and in-person
- Perform routine, non-clinical patient care tasks under therapist supervision
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure stock areas are clean and organized
- Greet patients and answer basic questions about treatments
- Collaborate with clinical staff to help coordinate care of patients
- Maintain equipment cleaning schedules
- Provide an extra set of hands for Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Physical Therapists (PTs) during therapy sessions
- Other duties as assigned
