About The Position

As a Rehab Aide, you will assist licensed therapists in providing therapeutic care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation. You will prepare treatment areas, help patients with exercises and mobility, manage equipment, and maintain a safe and organized clinical environment as delegated. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting patient progress and therapist needs within the rehabilitation setting.

Requirements

• One year of related work experience demonstrating the requisite job knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience or volunteer work with a disabled population, including patient transfers, medical terminology, and interaction with a medical team such as nurses, physicians, and therapists, within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Keep tools and equipment clean and ready for use in accordance with established standards to support clinic maintenance and infection control.
• Perform general organizational tasks as needed for patient care and clinical coordination.
• Perform safety and infection control tasks.
• Perform simple equipment repairs and maintenance when needed.
• Replenish supplies and materials for assigned areas.
• Assist with direct patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas and help patients with exercises and mobility as delegated.
• Manage equipment and maintain a safe, organized clinical environment.
