About The Position

This Rehab Aide position is located at 6678 US HIghway 6, Portage, IN 46368, and is a PRN (as needed) type of employment with a variable weekday schedule. Compensation ranges from $12.00 - $15.00/hour based on experience. The role is for individuals passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey and who enjoy working in an outpatient physical therapy setting. The Rehab Aide will assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting center operations. The company is looking for an upbeat, motivated, organized individual with a desire to assist with patient care and clinic administration tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Health Care Experience
• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
