About The Position

The Rehab Aide position is for individuals passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey in an outpatient physical therapy setting. In this role, the aide will assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting center operations.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program required
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Current State Driver’s License in good standing required
• Acquisition of a Class E license allowing for the operation of the bus

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
