About The Position
The Rehabilitation Aide works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Registered Physical Therapist, Registered Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist. This role is responsible for assisting therapists, including PTAs and COTAs, in patient treatment, preparing the therapy area before and after therapy sessions, and transporting patients to and from the Therapy Department.
Requirements
- Works under the supervision of Registered Nurse, Registered Physical Therapist, Registered Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists (PTA, COTA) in patient treatment.
- Prepare therapy area pre and post therapy.
- Transport patients to and from the Therapy Department.
