Educates others on regulatory matters related to filings, testimony, discovery response development, cost drivers, and revenue. Leads the technical staff in the preparation and support of analytical studies. May serve as a policy or technical expert for the company in regulated matters, including strategy development, negotiations, and testifying. Familiar with state or federal regulation standards, codes, concepts, systems, and business processes relevant to work assignments. Works independently to accomplish work plans initiated by various governmental agencies for rate cases, recovery clauses, audits, compliance filings, policy matters, pricing, and cost initiatives, and/or general questions. Stays aware of industry trends and changes in the area to test and validate corporate process. Actively engaged in a network or relationships with commission and industry stakeholders, interacting on a normal basis.
