Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to the job or thorough equivalent work experience plus a minimum of two years related work experience.
• Experience analyzing and tracking federal regulations with an interest in health care policy, or health care policy experience with an interest in federal government.
• Must possess a solid understanding of federal legislative and regulatory process.
• Ability to accomplish multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytic and writing skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Manager of Federal Policy and Regulatory Affairs with analyzing federal health policy, tracking federal regulations that affect family medicine, and conduct research and produce written deliverables to support external advocacy activities and internal AAFP governance needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
