Role Purpose: We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Associate to join the US Bank as part of the Compliance & Risk team. The purpose of this role is to identify, assess and mitigate regulatory reporting risks, provide oversight on regulatory reporting, and maintain open communication with regulators to ensure that the bank's activities and operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal control policies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in regulatory, compliance, risk, or related function
  • Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory language and translate it into practical guidance
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Law, Public Policy, or related field)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret existing laws, rules, and regulatory obligations applicable to the firm
  • Identify and assess new and emerging regulations, industry developments, and regulatory trends
  • Evaluate potential business and operational impacts of regulatory changes
  • Maintain clear, concise summaries and updates for stakeholders on regulatory developments
  • Analyze existing & newly issued regulations and guidance to support firm interpretation
  • Contribute to regulatory impact assessments and recommendations
  • Support and, where appropriate, coordinate components of regulatory implementation projects
  • Partner with internal teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable business steps
  • Help ensure business practices align with applicable regulatory frameworks and expectations
  • Support engagement and coordination with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and clarification on regulatory requirements to business partners
  • Assist in preparing materials for regulatory interactions, examinations, and inquiries
  • Draft and review regulatory documentation, including policies, procedures, and submissions
  • Ensure documentation is aligned with current and evolving regulatory expectations
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining organized and up-to-date regulatory records
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of governance and control processes
