Chemours is seeking Regulatory Laboratory Technicians to join our growing APM team! This position will report directly to the Analytical Operations Manager at our Washington Works, WV location.

Requirements

Minimum of a BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Related Field or equivalent experience
Demonstrated Knowledge of laboratory equipment and executing testing using the equipment
Ability to work in a very dynamic environment
Documented Experience setting up and developing new testing methods.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, respirators, etc.

Nice To Haves

Chromatography experience.
LC and Mass Spec experience.
Knowledge of Fluoropolymers
Problem solving certification.

Responsibilities

Key resource for support of analytical work in the Washington Works Environmental and Regulatory Laboratory.
Support the lab by development of new testing methods and troubleshooting existing testing methods.
Take on complicated measurements that are needed for our business team to be successful.
Take direction from our Analytical team and work under their direction.
Expected to be knowledgeable general laboratory methods, and able to learn new methods as necessary to grow into the role.
