Chemours is seeking Regulatory Laboratory Technicians to join our growing APM team! This position will report directly to the Analytical Operations Manager at our Washington Works, WV location.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Related Field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of laboratory equipment and executing testing using the equipment
  • Ability to work in a very dynamic environment
  • Documented Experience setting up and developing new testing methods.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, respirators, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Chromatography experience.
  • LC and Mass Spec experience.
  • Knowledge of Fluoropolymers
  • Problem solving certification.

Responsibilities

  • Key resource for support of analytical work in the Washington Works Environmental and Regulatory Laboratory.
  • Support the lab by development of new testing methods and troubleshooting existing testing methods.
  • Take on complicated measurements that are needed for our business team to be successful.
  • Take direction from our Analytical team and work under their direction.
  • Expected to be knowledgeable general laboratory methods, and able to learn new methods as necessary to grow into the role.
