About The Position

The Principal, Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for supporting the execution and delivery of key regulatory initiatives that demonstrate a return on investment (ROI) to the organization; specifically in the area of regulatory compliance. This includes the ongoing auditing and evaluation of these programs at all facilities across the entire C&S network to ensure program viability and site compliance. In this capacity, the Principal builds and maintains strong working relationships with key individuals at all locations and garners the support of Warehouse Directors at all locations. General job duties include submitting compliance reports to regulatory organizations, performing internal audits on the effectiveness of compliance policies, and serving as a liaison between management, personnel, and external agencies. Proactively address relevant OSHA, EPA, & PSM/RMP Regulatory issues impacting the company and assist in the development of new programs in related subject areas to support the entire C&S network of facilities. Travel extensively to all sites to complete on-site hands-on Environmental training with facility Fleet Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, and OS&D management on an annual basis, and complete audits of all Environmental programs for compliance. Ensure all sites receive the appropriate amount of education and training on an ongoing basis. Support all sites during OSHA, EPA, & PSM/RMP inspections by State and/or Federal regulators. Develop and submit reports to the sites, state, and federal agencies as required by law on a periodic basis. Complete administrative functions necessary to ensure records are maintained to comply with all state and federal regulations as it relates to EPA & OSHA compliance for all C&S locations.

Requirements

  • A&B UST certification in all operating states where we have UST's required
  • Excellent Collaboration & Training Skills
  • Strong Written & Oral Communication Skills
  • Strong Attention to Details
  • Job requires extensive walking, climbing both inside and outside facilities
  • Ability to travel extensively up to 75% of the time
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in OSHA & Environmental Compliance
  • Associate Degree - General Studies
  • Bachelor's Degree - Environmental Science
