Make Your Mark at Farm Family Insurance Working onsite as a Regulator Compliance Analyst I, you will make a vital contribution by providing specialized support to ensure that the products we offer continually meet the statutory and regulatory requirements of each state in which we do business and to serve as a liaison between Farm Family and the state departments of insurance.

Requirements

  • Advanced regulatory compliance or insurance experience and/or training, which typically comes with five or more years of experience.
  • Insurance Regulatory Filing experience , with a minimum of three years of experience
  • An eagerness to learn from experiences and new situations, you’re great at navigating and switching between proprietary, vendor, web-based and standard computer systems, according to priorities. You’re also great at identifying problems and coming up with appropriate solutions.
  • A customer service mindset and ability to proactively engage with a variety of clients and promptly respond to phone calls and/or emails is important too, as is the ability to maintain accurate and updated files.
  • Insatiable attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist nationwide product rollouts by researching, refining, and tailoring product updates that keep us ahead of evolving state regulatory landscapes, ensuring Farm Family leads with confidence and compliance.
  • Own the state filing lifecycle by crafting polished, accurate rate, rule, and form submissions that position our products for swift approval and market success.
  • Empower cross‑functional partners with clear, actionable filing insights, mapping effective dates, requirements, and timelines to keep initiatives moving smoothly and efficiently.
  • Craft compelling policyholder communications that clearly explain product, rate, and regulatory changes. Thus, helping customers stay informed while ensuring every message reflects our commitment to transparency and trust.
  • Monitor the regulatory horizon by analyzing new and amended laws, translating them into meaningful business impacts, and guiding teams toward proactive adjustments.
  • Strengthen audit readiness by supporting state and internal auditors, as well as litigation partners, with meticulously sourced historical rates, rules, forms, and communication records.
  • Enhance our reputation with regulators by coordinating thoughtful, thorough responses to state insurance department inquiries—showcasing our accuracy, agility, and collaborative spirit.
  • Advance compliance innovation by conducting deep-dive research and developing solutions that optimize and sustain Farm Family’s automated cancellation system.
