About The Position

The Regulatory Analyst files monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory compliance reports for Uniti and related legal entities. The position supports the regulatory compliance department with other compliance activities, including coordinating responses to data requests, seeking Uniti approvals, responding to commission inquiries, preparing various ILEC/CLEC/IXC reports, coordinating accounts payable, processing state US payments, and maintaining regulatory reports, logs, and databases. The role also assists with ad hoc projects and regulatory audits, and requires timely, accurate work and professional communication with internal departments, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

0–1 year of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or financial reporting role.
Accounting and financial analysis skills.
Detail-oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
Research skills.
Ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree with a concentration in telecommunications or accounting.
Accounts payable experience.
Regulatory compliance experience; candidates with varying tenure and experience are welcome.

Responsibilities
