About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position in Intermediate Portuguese I (POR2901 Section A) for the Fall 2026 semester within the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Ottawa. The course involves a review of grammar, development of oral and written comprehension and expression, reading, and vocabulary. It includes oral and written practice, study of complex grammar concepts, intensive written and spoken practice, composition and conversation exercises, oral presentations, and analysis of selected texts. Requirements
- Maîtrise en portugais ou l'équivalent.
- Expérience dans l'enseignement du portugais intermédiaire/avancé.
- Bilingue (français et anglais).
- M.A. in Portuguese or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching intermediate/advanced Portuguese.
- Bilingual (French and English).
