About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures within the Faculty of Arts. The course is Introduction to Japanese (JPN1901, Section A), focusing on the study and practice of spoken Japanese, fundamental grammar, and an introduction to modern written Japanese (Hiragana and Katakana). The course is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:30 to 19:00. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The position is limited to Regular Part-Time Professors. Requirements

  • M.A. in Japanese or equivalent.
  • Experience in the teaching of Japanese Culture.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
