The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Political Studies is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach POL3502 - Pensée politique moderne II (Modern Political Thought II) during the Fall 2026 semester. This course explores the origins and development of advanced modern political thought from the 19th century to the present, covering themes such as socialism, liberalism, Marxism, decolonialism, feminism, postmodernism, and Indigenous perspectives. It is strongly recommended that students have completed POL 2507 and POL 2508 prior to this course. The course will be offered online in a synchronous, scheduled format with live instruction. The University provides training for online course delivery. The teaching mode may change due to health or other reasons. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.
