About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Introduction to Interdisciplinary Study in the Arts (AHL1100 Section C00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course explores at least two disciplines in the Faculty of Arts, focusing on their conjunction to illuminate contemporary situations and debates. It also involves the development of critical reading and academic writing skills. The course is scheduled for Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00 and will be offered in person. Requirements

Experience of successfully teaching or assistant-teaching university-level courses in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Research or teaching experience in interdisciplinary epistemology theory, and method.
An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Relevant scholarly research and publications.

Responsibilities

Teach Introduction to Interdisciplinary Study in the Arts (AHL1100 Section C00).
Explore at least two disciplines in the Faculty of Arts, focusing on their conjunction to illuminate contemporary situations and debates.
Develop students' critical reading and academic writing skills.
Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
