About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Technical Report Writing (ENG1112 L00) during the Winter 2027 semester in the Department of English at the Faculty of Arts. The course focuses on the practice of writing technical reports, including exposition, argumentation, presentation of technical data, and effective communication. It involves frequent written exercises, development of composition skills, and required use of Writing Centre resources outside regular class hours. The language of instruction is English.

Requirements

• Ph.D (English)
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
• Employees are under provincial law required to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
• All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
