About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Technical Report Writing (ENG1112 O00) during the 2027 Winter Semester in the Department of English, Faculty of Arts. The course focuses on the practice of writing technical reports, including exposition, argumentation, presentation of technical data, and effective communication. It involves frequent written exercises, development of composition skills, and the required use of Writing Centre resources outside of regular class hours. The course is taught in English and is an online course with a DGD. The schedule is subject to change.

Requirements

• Ph.D (English)
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
• Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

• Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.
